REPORT OF DISTRICT CONFERENCE 'AABHA'

Inner Wheel District 314 were honoured to have Association President & NR Sunita Jain as the Chief Guest at The District Conference.
The Conference began with the 1 st District Committee Meeting for the year 2024-25 which was followed by a entertainment program.
The Scrutiny officers were presented with all the polling box and all necessary papers to conduct the voting for the post of District Editor.
A Sufi Dance was performed by Dr Roopali Deshpande followed by Musical program by Shreyas Patkar which had the members dancing to popular Hindi numbers.
Chief Guest Association President Sunita Jain and the DEC members were accorded a traditional welcome by the Host club IWC Hiranandani Estate members to the Inaugural Session. Followed by Lighting of lamp and invocation song by IWC Hiranadani Estate members and National Anthem by Zone 5 Presidents.
District Chairman presented her report for all District events and District coordinated project for the past six month followed by presentation of the amazing work done by all clubs. The Inaugural session also saw the felicitation of PDC Falguni Mehta, Recognition of PAP Pushpa Suryamurty for being elected as Association CCC Chairman 2025-28 and felicitation of Prakash ji for his unstinted support to IW District 314 for over 30 Years. AP Sunita Jain also felicitated PAP Rakshaben Mehta with a Life time achievement award which was presented to her by District317 during the West Zone meet.
District Chairman Prerana Raichur proceeded to Introduce the District Chairman 2025-26 Lakshmi Singh by a video presentation. DVC Lakshmi Singh then gave her acceptance speech.
The District Governor RID 3141 Chetan Desai & District Governor 3142 Dinesh Mehta were present and gave their best wishes to Inner Wheel District 314. The District newsletter “ AABHA” edited by District Editor Jyoti Kotak was released by chief Guest AP & NR Sunita Jain in presence of District Governors 3141 & 3142.
Association President Sunita Jain then addressed the gathering. Her talk was very inspiring to the audience who heard her with rapt attention.
The reports to be presented at the Business Session is emailed to the Presidents and PDC’s in the next few days.
Scrutiny officer PDC Dr Chhaya Bhadkamkar presented the voting results for the post of District Editor.
The New team for 2025 -26 was announced. District Chairman 2025-26 Lakshmi Singh, District Vice Chairman Mona Gyani, IPDC & AC member Prerana Raichur, District Secretary Monila Bhattasali, District Treasurer Suchitra Nayak, District ESO PDC Sunita Jain, District ISO Jyoti Kotak and District Editor Jayashree Bokadia.
The Hosts for the conference were IWC Hiranandani Estate and Co Hosts were all clubs of zone 5.
