Know Your IIW President 2026-27

As a member of Inner Wheel since 2003-2004. I have experienced the importance of our organisation. We, a worldwide network, have the chance, the means and the ability to make a change. The direct links between us facilitate, encourage and make it possible to act quickly and effectively. Our clubs are there to execute what is necessary in an emergency.

My vision is of an even stronger and more flexible way of acting directly and efficiently. But how do we achieve that? There have already been measures to reach out in cases of catastrophes. Inner Wheel clubs react and distribute help in areas nearby. In that way the help reaches the people in acute circumstances without any loss on the way. This is an excellent way to help which can be further developed. To encourage our members to find realisable ways to distribute help is what I intend to work for. The abhorrent trafficking of children/women taking place in the world is another area where we must make a stand. There are obstacles on the way and we can all contribute to overcome them. Administration should be kept to a minimum checking so nothing is wasted.

I know that our members are dedicated and inventive and find ways of acting. My aim and intention is to work hard for Inner Wheel and to keep our organisation alive. We need more members, keep our precious members and stop disbandment. The Wheel is turning. Let’s work for that.
